A 1944 graduate of the former DeVilbiss High School, she married Raymond L. Grabowski. Her last days were spent with memories, love and laughter. Helen always put others first and would help anyone in need.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who dedicated her life to her family. She was an AVID Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to garage sales and was an excellent cook and baker. Helen’s greatest joy was “babygirl” her constant companion and loving Chihuahua that she adopted from a local shelter.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Mike (Diana) Grabowski, Eileen (Mike) Herron, Paul Grabowski and David (Cathy) Grabowski; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and now another great grandchild on the way!  She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond ; brother, Robert Minke and daughter-in-law, Chris Grabowski (DeLauter).

Visitation and services were private.  Memorials may be made to: Planned Pethood INC, P.O. BOX 350908  Toledo, OH, 43635  OR Heartland Hospice , 28555 Starbright Blvd. Suite E, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551  Thanks go out to Heartland Care and especially Heartland Hospice, who gave outstanding, compassionate care for Helen and her family in her last few days.  Special thanks to Lizzie who came in on very short notice with her guitar, some hymns, prayer, and a bubbly, caring spirit, which was just what we needed.  Helen was truly loved by all that knew her, she will be remembered and greatly missed.
